Good quality but heavy patina
The craftsmanship is solid, but the artificial aging is a bit darker than I expected. Still a nice item for the price point if you want that 'dug up' look.

Nice novelty gift
Bought this for my grandfather who collects coins. He appreciated the detail even though he knows it's a replica. The velvet pouch was a nice touch.

Perfect for our period film set
The detailing on this replica is incredible. It looks authentic on camera under high-definition lights without breaking the bank. The weight feels substantial in the hand.

Great for history class demonstrations
I bought several of these to pass around in my history class so students could handle a replica without risking damage to a real rare coin. They are durable and detailed.

Great display piece, not real silver
Just a reminder that this is an alloy prop, not actual silver, but the description makes that clear. The aging effect looks very realistic for a museum display case.

Excellent costume accessory
Used this for a 1930s gangster cosplay. It completed the look perfectly. The reeded edges are well-defined and it doesn't look like cheap plastic.
Q: Can I use this in a vending machine?
A: We do not recommend using this item in vending machines. While the size is similar, the weight and metallic composition differ from legal tender and may cause jams.
Q: Is the walking liberty design on both sides?
A: No, one side features the Walking Liberty design (obverse), and the other side features the Heraldic Eagle emblem (reverse), just like the original 1936 commemorative coin.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver?
A: No, this is a handcrafted replica made from zinc alloy with an antique silver finish. It contains no precious metals and is intended for display or prop use only.
Q: Does the patina wear off easily?
A: The finish is baked on for durability, but excessive rubbing or contact with harsh chemicals may eventually reduce the distressed effect over time.
Q: What are the exact dimensions of this prop?
A: The replica matches the standard 1936 Half Dollar dimensions, measuring 30.6 mm in diameter and approximately 2.15 mm in thickness.
