Best value for theater props
The antique styling is consistent across all pieces we ordered. No shiny new spots that break the illusion. Highly recommended for stage productions.

Great prop, clearly marked as replica
As a collector, I appreciate that this is clearly a replica and not trying to deceive anyone. The weight feels substantial in the hand, though the metal is obviously alloy and not silver.

Excellent classroom tool
I bought a set for my history class to teach students about currency evolution. They look old and worn which helps demonstrate what circulated money looked like decades ago.

Perfect for our period film set
We needed authentic-looking coins for a 1960s scene, and these replicas are spot on. The distressed finish looks incredibly realistic under camera lights without reflecting too much glare.

Beautiful aged effect
The patina application is very well done. It doesn't look like cheap paint; it actually looks like oxidized metal. Perfect for my vintage shadow box display.

Nice conversation piece
Bought this to show my grandkids what money used to look like. It has a nice heft to it and the details on Kennedy's profile are quite sharp despite the distressed look.
Q: Can I use this for magic tricks?
A: Absolutely! Many magicians use these replicas because they have the correct size and weight of a real half dollar but are durable enough for repeated handling and sleight of hand.
Q: Is the distressing uniform on every coin?
A: Each coin is hand-finished to achieve a retro look, so there may be slight variations in the patina pattern. This ensures every piece looks unique and naturally aged.
Q: Does the package include a display case?
A: The standard package includes one replica coin and a soft velvet pouch for storage. Display cases are sold separately in our accessories section.
Q: How realistic is the sound when dropped on a table?
A: While the size and weight mimic a real half dollar, the alloy material produces a slightly duller 'clink' compared to the high-pitched ring of genuine silver or clad coinage.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver?
A: No, this item is a handcrafted replica made from zinc alloy with an antique silver finish. It contains no precious metals and is not legal tender.
