Great prop, minor imperfections
Bought this for a theater production and it worked perfectly under stage lights. There are some slight casting marks on the edge, but nothing that detracts from the overall vintage look.

Heavy and well-made
I was surprised by the weight. It has a nice clink when set on a table. The distressed look gives it character, making it seem like it has been around since the 18th century.

Good replica but not real silver
Just a reminder to everyone that this is an alloy replica, not precious metal. It looks great as a display piece, but don't expect it to have any intrinsic monetary value beyond the collectible aspect.

Stunning detail for the price
The aging effect on this coin looks incredibly realistic. The text from the Declaration is crisp and easy to read. It feels heavy and substantial in the hand, not like a cheap toy.

Excellent screen presence
We use these as background props in our period films. They photograph beautifully and the antique finish saves us hours of post-production work. Highly recommended for filmmakers.

Perfect gift for history lovers
My father loves anything related to early American history. He was thrilled with the craftsmanship. The velvet pouch it comes in is a nice touch for storage.
Q: Can I customize the text on the back of the coin?
A: Unfortunately, we do not offer custom engraving or text modifications for this specific mass-produced design. The design is fixed as the Declaration of Independence theme.
Q: What are the exact dimensions for framing purposes?
A: The coin has a diameter of 1.75 inches (44.5 mm) and a thickness of 3.5 mm. Please allow for a variance of +/- 0.5mm due to the handcrafted finishing process.
Q: Does the coin come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: Since this is a decorative replica prop and not an official government-issued mint product, it does not include a certificate of authenticity. It does come with a protective velvet pouch.
Q: Is the 'aged' look painted on or part of the metal?
A: The aged appearance is achieved through a chemical patina process applied to the alloy, followed by a protective clear coat. It is not simply paint and will not easily rub off with normal handling.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver or gold?
A: No, this item is a handcrafted replica made from zinc alloy with an antique bronze finish to simulate an aged look. It does not contain precious metals.
