Beautiful ornamental addition

These add such a whimsical touch to my garden. The variety in shapes within the packet is fun to discover as they grow. Arrived well-packaged.

High germination rate

Out of 20 seeds, 18 sprouted! That is an incredible success rate. The plants are healthy and vigorous. Will definitely buy again next season.

Excellent for drying and painting

I bought these specifically for holiday crafts. The shells dry hard and smooth. The extra-large waisted shape is distinct and looks great when painted.

Good product, needs space

The seeds are good quality, but don't let the 'mini' name fool you; the vines still spread out quite a bit. Make sure you have a trellis ready.

Perfect for my balcony garden

These seeds germinated quickly and the vines are very manageable in a large pot. The gourds are tiny and perfectly shaped, just like the photos. Great for beginners.

Cute varieties, slow start

Took a little longer to sprout than expected, but once they got going, they produced many small gourds. The 'Eight Treasures' mix has some really unique shapes.

5 FAQ

Q: How do I know when the gourds are ready to harvest?

A: Wait until the vine turns brown and the gourd feels lightweight with a hard shell. You should hear seeds rattling inside when shaken.

Q: Are these seeds treated with any chemicals?

A: No, our seeds are untreated and non-GMO, making them safe for organic gardening practices.

Q: Can these be grown indoors in a container?

A: Yes, they thrive in large containers (at least 5 gallons) provided they receive full sun, either from a south-facing window or grow lights.

Q: Do I need to pollinate these by hand?

A: Usually bees handle pollination naturally. If you are growing indoors or have low bee activity, hand pollination using a small brush is recommended.

Q: What is the best time of year to plant these?

A: Plant outdoors only after all danger of frost has passed and soil temperatures reach at least 70°F (21°C).
