Grandkids love it
Bought this to teach my grandchildren about history. They love holding it and looking at the dates. It's durable enough to handle being passed around.

Stunning detail for a replica
The antique finish on this coin looks incredibly authentic. The details on the eagle and the portrait are crisp and clear. It's a perfect addition to my display case without breaking the bank.

Good but not perfect
The coin looks nice from a distance, but up close you can tell it's plated brass. Still, for the price, it serves its purpose as a decorative item.

Great conversation piece
Bought this to show friends what an 1865 dollar looks like. The weight feels substantial, though obviously lighter than real silver. The plating is even and hasn't tarnished yet.

Perfect for framing
I used this in a shadow box frame along with some old documents. The antique look blends perfectly with the vintage aesthetic. Highly recommend for craft projects.

Nice patina effect
The oxidized areas give it a really cool aged look right out of the package. No need to artificially age it yourself. Very satisfied with the purchase.
Q: Is the 1865 date historically accurate for this design?
A: The 1865 date refers to the Civil War era. While the specific design elements may be composite for artistic purposes, the date is historically significant for US coinage history.
Q: Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: Since this is a decorative replica and not a rare numismatic item, it does not come with a certificate of authenticity. It does arrive in a protective plastic capsule.
Q: Can I return this if the plating chips?
A: Yes, we offer a 30-day return policy for items in their original condition. If the plating chips due to a manufacturing defect upon arrival, please contact us immediately for a replacement.
Q: What is the exact diameter of the coin?
A: The coin measures 38.1 mm in diameter, which matches the standard size of a US Morgan or Peace silver dollar.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver?
A: No, this is a replica made from brass with a silver plating. It does not contain precious metals and has no face value as currency.
