Perfect for miniature collections

These seeds germinated quickly and produced adorable tiny gourds. The shape is exactly what I needed for my hand-rolling collection. Highly recommend for bonsai enthusiasts.

Fun project for the whole family

We planted these with my grandchildren. Watching them grow into such tiny, unique shapes was a delight. We are currently drying them to paint later.

Space saver

Excellent choice for container gardening or small balconies. The vines don't take over the entire garden like standard gourd varieties. Very manageable.

Great growth, needs patience

The vines grew vigorously. It took a bit longer than expected for the gourds to fully mature and dry, but the final result was worth the wait. Very cute little shapes.

Good seeds, tricky climate

The seeds are high quality, but I struggled a bit with the humidity in my area. If you live in a drier climate, these will probably thrive even better. Still got a few nice gourds.

5 FAQ

Q: What is the best soil type for these seeds?

A: They prefer well-draining, loamy soil with a pH between 6.0 and 6.8. Adding some compost before planting helps boost early growth.

Q: Do these seeds require a trellis to grow?

A: While they can sprawl on the ground, using a small trellis or stake is recommended for the Extra Small Tiantan variety to ensure the gourds develop their characteristic shape without distortion.

Q: How long does it take for the gourds to dry after harvesting?

A: Once harvested, miniature gourds like this variety typically take 2 to 4 weeks to dry completely in a warm, well-ventilated area out of direct sunlight.

Q: Can these be grown indoors in pots?

A: Yes, they are excellent for indoor pot growing provided they receive at least 6 hours of direct sunlight daily or are placed under strong grow lights.

Q: Are these seeds treated with any chemicals?

A: No, our Big Beak Small Eight Treasures seeds are untreated and non-GMO, making them safe for organic gardening practices.
