Durable Ceramic Build
The ceramic element seems much more durable than the standard silicone sock heaters I used before.
Q: What tools are needed for installation?
A: You will need a hex key set and thermal paste for the thermistor installation.
Q: Does this come with a silicone sock?
A: No, the ceramic heater does not require a silicone sock for insulation.
Q: Is this compatible with 12V printers?
A: This kit is designed specifically for 24V systems. Using it on 12V will result in insufficient heating.
Q: Can I use carbon fiber filament?
A: Yes, provided you use the included hardened steel nozzle which resists abrasion.
Q: What thermistor is included?
A: The kit comes with a PT1000 thermistor compatible with most modern boards.
