Good value for money
50 meters is a lot of cord for the price. I have enough to make many necklaces. The only reason for 4 stars is that the spool was a bit tangled upon arrival.

Ideal thickness for small beads
The 1mm size fits perfectly through small gemstone beads without needing to force it. Highly recommend for anyone doing intricate handcraft work.

Professional finish
As a hobbyist jewelry maker, I appreciate how clean the cuts are with this cord. It doesn't unravel easily, and the knots look very professional once tightened.

Perfect for my bead projects
This wax cord is exactly what I needed for stringing my jade pendants. The 1mm thickness is ideal, and the wax coating makes threading beads incredibly smooth without fraying.

Great quality, strong color
I bought the coffee color for some DIY Buddhist prayer beads. The color is rich and consistent throughout the roll. It's very durable, though slightly stiffer than expected at first.

Excellent wear resistance
I've made several bracelets that get daily wear, and this cord shows no signs of weakening or fading. The wear-resistant claim is definitely accurate.
Q: Can I use this for macrame wall hangings?
A: While primarily designed for jewelry and beads, you can use it for small-scale macrame projects. For large wall hangings, a thicker cord might be more appropriate.
Q: Does the wax rub off on hands or clothes?
A: The wax coating is integrated into the fibers to prevent fraying and is generally non-transferable. However, we recommend washing hands after extensive handling of new cord.
Q: How do I seal the ends to prevent fraying?
A: You can simply cut the cord at an angle; the wax coating usually holds the end together. For extra security, a tiny drop of clear glue or briefly passing a flame near the tip works well.
Q: Is this cord suitable for heavy stone pendants?
A: Yes, the high-density material provides excellent tensile strength, making it suitable for medium to heavy stone pendants when double-stranded or knotted securely.
Q: Is this cord waterproof?
A: The wax coating offers some water resistance, making it safe for occasional exposure to moisture, but it is not fully waterproof for prolonged submersion.
