Good quality, small size
The DMC thread quality is excellent as expected. Just be aware that the finished piece is quite small, so it's best for framing in a petite frame or making into an ornament.

Adorable design for beginners
This sparrow kit was perfect for my first cross-stitch project. The chart is very clear, and the colors are vibrant. It took me about a weekend to complete, and it looks great in my kitchen now.

Nice but needs a magnifier
The design is beautiful, but some of the stitches are very close together. I found using a magnifying lamp helped significantly. Otherwise, a solid kit with good materials.

Relaxing weekend project
I loved stitching these little birds. The instructions were easy to follow, and the fabric count was comfortable to work with. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind.

Great gift idea
Bought this as a gift for my sister who loves nature themes. She finished it in two days and said the details on the sparrows' feathers were surprisingly intricate yet fun to stitch.

Classic DMC quality
You can never go wrong with DMC. The threads didn't tangle, and the pre-printed fabric made counting squares unnecessary. The sparrows look very lifelike once finished.
Q: Is the fabric pre-printed with the pattern?
A: Yes, the Aida cloth in this kit comes with the pattern printed directly on it, which makes it much easier for beginners to follow without constantly checking the chart.
Q: What are the exact dimensions of the finished design?
A: The finished design measures approximately 4.5 inches by 4.5 inches (11.4 cm x 11.4 cm), not including any border or framing space you might add.
Q: How many strands of thread should I use for the cross stitch?
A: For 14 count Aida fabric, the standard recommendation is to use 2 strands of embroidery floss for the full cross stitches and 1 strand for the backstitch detailing.
Q: Does this kit come with a wooden hoop or frame?
A: No, this kit includes the fabric, threads, needle, and instructions, but you will need to purchase a hoop or frame separately if you wish to use one while stitching or for display.
Q: Are extra threads included in case I make a mistake?
A: The kit provides sufficient thread length to complete the project with normal usage. While there is a small amount of extra length on each bobbin, we recommend stitching carefully as significant corrections may require purchasing additional skeins.
