Scent fades faster than expected
Works well initially, but I found I had to sand them down after just two months to get the smell back. Still better than chemical balls.

Good scent, lasts a while
The aroma is strong when you first open the package. It has been effective for about 4 months so far. Will buy again.

Perfect for cedar chests
Added these to my grandmother's old cedar chest to boost the protection. They fit perfectly and look rustic.

Great natural alternative
I love that these are made from real wood instead of harsh chemicals. They smell wonderful and keep my winter clothes safe from moths.

No more moth problems
We had a minor moth issue in our linen closet. After placing these blocks inside, the problem disappeared completely within a week.
Q: How do I know when the camphor wood is no longer effective?
A: When the aromatic scent is no longer detectable, the repellent properties have diminished. You can lightly sand the surface with fine-grit sandpaper to refresh the scent and extend its life.
Q: Can I cut the wood into smaller pieces for multiple drawers?
A: Yes, you can carefully saw or break the camphor wood into smaller chunks to distribute the scent across several smaller drawers or compartments.
Q: Can I use this directly on delicate silk fabrics?
A: Yes, natural camphor wood is safe for all fabric types including silk and wool. However, we recommend wrapping the wood in a thin cloth if direct contact concerns you.
Q: What is the difference between this and synthetic mothballs?
A: Synthetic mothballs often contain naphthalene or paradichlorobenzene, which can be toxic and leave a harsh chemical odor. Our camphor wood is 100% natural, non-toxic, and leaves a pleasant woody fragrance.
Q: Is this product safe for households with pets?
A: While natural camphor is generally safer than synthetic mothballs, ingestion can be harmful to pets. Please place the blocks in areas inaccessible to cats and dogs.
