Easy to install
As someone new to clock making, I was worried about the installation. The kit came with clear markings on how to attach the hands without bending them. It has been running accurately for three weeks now on a single AA battery.

Truly silent operation
I am a light sleeper and needed a clock for my bedroom that wouldn't make any noise. This movement is amazing. No ticking sound at all, just a smooth glide. Highly recommend for bedrooms or libraries.

Perfect for my DIY project

Good value, smooth motion
The second hand moves very smoothly without the typical jerky motion of cheaper clocks. The shaft was slightly longer than I needed, but it came with a spacer so it fit my 5mm thick board perfectly. Great purchase.

Great modern look
The hands have a nice modern aesthetic that fits well with my minimalist decor. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the packaging was a bit loose, but the product itself was undamaged and works great.

Reliable and accurate
I bought three of these for different custom clocks I made as gifts. All three are keeping perfect time. The build quality feels sturdy, and the silent mechanism is a huge plus compared to standard movements.
Q: Does the package include the battery?
A: No, the battery is not included due to shipping regulations. You will need to purchase one standard AA battery separately.
Q: What is the total length of the shaft including the threads?
A: The total shaft length is approximately 16.5mm. If your dial is thinner, you can use the included hex nut and washer to secure it firmly.
Q: Will this fit a clock face that is 8mm thick?
A: Yes, this movement supports dial thicknesses up to 9mm, so an 8mm face will fit perfectly with the provided shaft length.
Q: Can I use different style hands with this movement?
A: Yes, as long as the hands are designed for a standard quartz movement shaft and are balanced correctly for the size of your clock face, they will work.
Q: Is the second hand removable if I don't want it?
A: Yes, the second hand can be gently pulled off the pinion shaft if you prefer a two-hand clock display. It does not affect the movement's operation.
