Perfect for high-rise apartments!

Great gadget, minor app lag

The robot itself works wonderfully on my glass shower doors and windows. The suction is strong and it hasn't fallen once. The only reason for 4 stars is that the app sometimes takes a few seconds to connect, but once connected, it works fine.

Good but battery could be better

It cleans very well and the path planning is smart. However, for very large windows, I have to stop and recharge it halfway through. For average-sized home windows, it's perfectly fine.

Solid performer

Does exactly what it says. Setup was intuitive, and the safety rope gives great peace of mind. It handles corners reasonably well, though it takes a second pass sometimes. Overall very satisfied.

A: The MINI 2 uses advanced edge-detection sensors to identify frameless glass boundaries. However, for maximum safety on frameless surfaces, we strongly recommend using the included safety tether attached to a secure anchor point inside.

Q: What happens if the power goes out while it's cleaning?

A: The robot has a built-in backup battery that engages immediately upon power loss. This reserve power allows the unit to maintain suction for approximately 20 minutes, giving you ample time to retrieve it safely before it detaches.

Q: How often do I need to replace the cleaning cloths?

A: Depending on usage frequency and dirt levels, the microfiber cloths typically last for 30 to 50 cleaning cycles. They are washable; simply rinse with water and let them air dry before reusing. Replace them if they show signs of wear or lose their grip.

Q: Is the water tank refillable during operation?

A: No, the water tank must be refilled before starting a cleaning cycle. Please ensure the tank is filled with clean tap water (or a mix of water and mild glass cleaner if recommended in the manual) prior to placing the robot on the window.

Q: Does it work on textured or frosted glass?

A: The ECOVACS MINI 2 is designed specifically for smooth, flat glass surfaces. It may not adhere properly or clean effectively on textured, frosted, or heavily patterned glass due to reduced suction contact.
