Compact and travel-friendly
I take this everywhere. It fits easily in the overhead bin on planes. The 15 strings give enough range to play many simple melodies without being overwhelming for a beginner.

A hidden gem
Rare to find a quality lyre at this price point. The crescent shape is comfortable to hold against the chest. My kids love trying to play it too. Very durable construction.

Great value, minor tuning stability
Beautiful craftsmanship and very easy to hold. It took a few days for the strings to settle, so I had to retune frequently at first, but now it holds tune well. The carrying bag is a nice bonus.

Perfect first harp!
I was intimidated by full-sized harps, but this lyre is the perfect size for my lap. The sound is surprisingly rich for such a compact instrument. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to start learning.

Lovely sound, instructions could be better
The instrument itself is fantastic. The included manual is a bit basic, so I had to look up online tutorials for tuning and basic chords. Once I got the hang of it, it's been wonderful.

Exceeded expectations
The wood finish is gorgeous and smooth. No sharp edges on the frame. The tone is bright and clear. I use it for meditation music and it creates such a peaceful atmosphere.
Q: What type of strings are used and where can I get replacements?
A: The harp uses standard nylon strings. If you need replacements, any standard nylon harp or lyre strings of the appropriate gauge will work. We also sell replacement string sets in our store.
Q: Does this come with a stand or do I need to buy one separately?
A: This model is designed to be held in the hands or rested on the lap while playing. It does not include a floor stand, but many customers use small universal music stands if they prefer not to hold it.
Q: Is this suitable for a 7-year-old child?
A: Absolutely. Due to its lightweight design (3.5 lbs) and compact size, it is very suitable for children aged 6 and up. The string tension is gentle on young fingers.
Q: Is the gig bag padded enough for airline travel?
A: The included gig bag has soft padding suitable for general protection and carry-on travel. For checked baggage or rough handling, we recommend adding extra bubble wrap or using a hard case if available.
Q: Can I change the tuning to different keys easily?
A: Yes, the lyre is diatonic. You can retune individual strings using the included tuning key to change keys, though it is primarily set to C Major out of the box. Changing keys requires manual retuning of specific strings.
