Good craft, but clearly a replica
The craftsmanship is solid, but if you are looking to fool a numismatist, this won't work. The metal sound when dropped gives it away immediately. Good for casual display though.

Great display piece, not real silver
Just to be clear, this is an alloy replica as stated, not actual silver. However, the weight and feel are surprisingly good for a decorative item. The antique finish is very well done.

Perfect for our 1940s film set
The distressing on this alloy replica looks incredibly authentic under camera lights. It passed as a real circulated silver dollar in our close-up shots. Highly recommended for prop masters.

Unique gift for history lovers
Bought this for my grandfather who loves old coins. He appreciated the artistic effort put into the hand-distressing. It sits nicely on his desk as a conversation starter.

Excellent costume accessory
I needed a prop coin for my Depression-era character costume. This fits the bill perfectly. The distressed look makes it seem like it has been in someone's pocket for decades.

Great game currency
Using these as high-value currency for our tabletop RPG sessions. They feel substantial in the hand and the retro look adds great immersion to the game.
Q: Is this coin made of real silver?
A: No, this is a handcrafted replica made from distressed zinc alloy designed to look like an antique silver dollar. It contains no precious metals.
Q: Does it come with a certificate of authenticity?
A: It comes with a card stating it is a handcrafted replica prop. Since it is not an original historical artifact or precious metal coin, a traditional COA is not included.
Q: How was the distressed effect achieved?
A: Each coin is individually hand-treated by artisans to create a unique, worn patina that mimics natural circulation wear from the 1930s era.
Q: Can this be used as legal tender?
A: Absolutely not. This item is strictly a decorative prop, collectible craft, or costume accessory and holds no monetary value as currency.
Q: What are the exact dimensions?
A: The coin measures 38.1 mm in diameter and weighs approximately 26.5 grams, matching the standard size of a US Silver Dollar for realistic handling.
