Great quality, tricky hinges
The plastic feels sturdy and not cheap. The only reason for 4 stars is that the hinge pins were a bit tight to insert, but once snapped in, the lid opens and closes smoothly.

Good but missing one screw
The shell itself is beautiful and fits well. However, my kit was missing one of the tiny shoulder screws. I had to use a spare from an old project. Check your kit immediately upon arrival.

Amazing limited edition look
This completely transformed my old beaten-up GBA SP. The colors are spot on for the limited edition theme. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a custom look without buying a whole new console.

Perfect fit for my GBA SP!
The shell fits perfectly on my AGS-101 model. The Pocket Monster artwork is vibrant and looks exactly like the photos. Installation took about 20 minutes with the included screwdriver.

Brings back childhood memories
Love the Pocket Monster design! It reminds me of the original limited editions from years ago. The matte finish prevents fingerprints which is a huge plus. Very happy with this purchase.

A: No, this replacement kit is designed exclusively for the Game Boy Advance SP (AGS-001 and AGS-101 models). It will not fit the original rectangular GBA.

A: The kit includes a small Phillips head screwdriver suitable for the job. However, using a plastic prying tool (spudger) is recommended to avoid scratching the case during opening, though not strictly required.

A: Yes, the back shell includes a new battery cover mechanism that locks securely, provided the internal battery compartment of your unit is intact.
