Solid upgrade for older instruments

A: No, the felt bushings come pre-installed and are designed to stay in place via friction and the pressure of the peg mechanism. No additional adhesive is required or recommended.

Q: Do these pegs fit all standard guqin models?

A: They fit most standard guqins with traditional peg holes. However, since headstock thickness can vary slightly between makers, we recommend measuring your current peg hole diameter before purchasing.

Q: What if the peg feels too tight or too loose after installation?

A: The tension is adjustable via a small screw on the end of the peg shaft. Please refer to page 4 of the included installation guide for step-by-step instructions on calibrating the tension to your preference.

Q: Can I install these myself without damaging my instrument?

A: While the kit includes a detailed guide and tool, installation involves reaming the peg holes to a specific size. If you are uncomfortable modifying your instrument, we suggest professional installation by a qualified luthier.
