Solid tool, slight learning curve
Very high quality construction. They are a bit stiffer than my old plastic-handled scissors, but once you get used to the tension, they work beautifully for bud trimming.

Best investment for shaping

Great for dividing orchids
I was worried they might be too heavy for delicate orchid roots, but the ergonomic handle makes them very easy to control. Clean cuts every time without crushing the tissue.
Q: Are these shears suitable for cutting thick woody branches?
A: These shears are designed primarily for precision pruning of leaves, buds, and small branches up to 1/4 inch in diameter. For thicker woody branches, we recommend using our heavy-duty branch cutters.
Q: Is the handle comfortable for people with small hands?
A: Yes, the ergonomic design is compact and fits comfortably in smaller hands. The non-slip grip also provides extra control for users with less grip strength.
Q: Can these be used on wet plants?
A: While the stainless steel is rust-resistant, we recommend pruning dry plants whenever possible to prevent disease spread and ensure the cleanest cut. If you must prune wet plants, dry the blades immediately afterward.
Q: How do I maintain the sharpness of the blades?
A: To maintain sharpness, always wipe the blades clean after use to remove sap and moisture. Occasionally apply a drop of light machine oil to the pivot point. Avoid cutting wire or non-plant materials.
Q: Does this come with a protective sheath?
A: This model does not include a separate sheath, but it features a built-in locking latch that covers the blade edge safely when not in use. We sell universal leather sheaths separately if you prefer additional protection.
