Comfortable grip for long use
The rubber handles are very comfortable. I spent an afternoon pruning my citrus trees and didn't get any blisters. Highly recommend for home gardeners.

Perfect for my grapevine harvest
These shears made harvesting my backyard grapes so much easier. The extended handles give great leverage, and the blades cut through thick stems cleanly without crushing them.

Good value for money
Solid construction for the price. They feel sturdy in the hand. I use them mostly for vegetable gardening and they snap through stems like butter.

Great for flower arranging
I bought these primarily for cutting flowers for arrangements. The precision is excellent, and the stainless steel ensures no rust even after washing them frequently.

Exceeded expectations
I was skeptical about the 'extended' claim, but the extra length really helps reach into dense bushes. The cut is clean every time, promoting healthy plant growth.

Sharp and durable
Very sharp out of the box. I've used them for trimming Sichuan pepper bushes and they handle the woody stems well. The only reason for 4 stars is that the lock can be a bit stiff initially.
Q: Can these shears cut through thick woody branches?
A: Yes, the Sawada 912 is designed to cut branches up to 20mm in diameter effectively thanks to its high-carbon stainless steel blades.
Q: Are these suitable for left-handed users?
A: Yes, the symmetrical handle design and central pivot make these shears comfortable and effective for both left and right-handed users.
Q: Does the safety lock work reliably?
A: Yes, the shear features a robust safety latch that securely locks the blades in the closed position for safe storage and transport.
Q: How do I clean the shears after using them on sap-heavy plants?
A: We recommend wiping the blades with a cloth dampened with rubbing alcohol or warm soapy water immediately after use to prevent sap buildup and maintain sharpness.
Q: Is the blade replaceable if it gets dull?
A: The blades are not designed to be user-replaceable, but they are made of high-quality steel that holds an edge for a long time. We recommend professional sharpening if needed.
