Much better than standard kits

I've used many furniture connectors before, and these 'thickened' versions are noticeably more durable. The pre-embedded expansion nut saves a lot of time during assembly. Highly recommended.

Good value but tight fit

The quality is excellent for the price. The cam lock mechanism works smoothly, though the dowel holes need to be drilled very precisely as the fit is quite tight. Overall satisfied with the purchase.

Great for heavy furniture

Solid construction

Very robust plastic material. I was worried they might feel cheap, but they have a good weight to them. One star off because the screws included were slightly shorter than I expected for thick boards.

A: These connectors are designed to work excellently with particle board, MDF, and solid wood. The expansion nut feature provides a secure grip in composite materials.

Q: Does the package include the metal cams or just the plastic housing?

A: Each set includes the plastic housing, the metal cam lock, the connecting screw, and the plastic dowel. It is a complete three-in-one kit ready for installation.

Q: Can these be disassembled and reused if I move house?

A: Yes, the cam lock mechanism allows for disassembly. However, the integrity of the connection may depend on the condition of the board holes after removal. We suggest using wall plugs if reusing in the same holes.

Q: What size drill bit do I need for the cam lock hole?

A: For the 15mm cam lock, we recommend using a 15mm Forstner bit or a standard drill bit of the same size to ensure a clean, precise hole for the locking mechanism.

Q: Is there a weight limit per connector?

A: While dependent on the material of your furniture, each connector is tested to hold up to 50kg when installed correctly in standard 16mm-18mm thick boards. For heavier loads, we recommend using multiple connectors per joint.
