Perfect for beginners
I have never grown vegetables before, but these seedlings made it so easy. The pots are convenient, and the soil quality seems excellent. The variety mix is fun because I get different types of peppers.

Great value, one plant was slightly wilted
Overall a great purchase. Three of the four seedlings were perfect. One looked a bit sad upon arrival but perked up after watering and sitting in the sun for a day. Good instructions included.

Thriving in my balcony garden!
I ordered the mixed pack and all four varieties arrived healthy. The soil was moist, and the leaves were vibrant green. Two weeks later, they are already showing new growth. Can't wait to harvest some homegrown peppers.

Exceeded expectations

Fast shipping and well packaged

Authentic Shouguang quality
As someone from Shandong originally, I know good pepper seedlings. These are the real deal. Strong stems and healthy root systems. Highly recommend for anyone wanting authentic Chinese pepper varieties.
Q: Can I grow these entirely indoors if I don't have a balcony?
A: Yes, you can grow them indoors provided you place them near a south-facing window with at least 6 hours of direct sunlight, or use full-spectrum grow lights for 12-14 hours a day.
Q: Are these seeds or actual live plants?
A: These are live, germinated seedlings ready for planting. They are not seeds. This saves you the germination time and ensures a higher success rate for your garden.
Q: How soon after delivery should I transplant these into larger pots?
A: You can keep them in the provided nursery pots for about 2-3 weeks. Once you see roots emerging from the bottom drainage holes, it is time to transplant them into a larger container (at least 5 gallons) or directly into the ground.
Q: Do these seedlings come with fertilizer, or do I need to buy some separately?
A: The included soil is pre-mixed with slow-release organic nutrients sufficient for the first 3-4 weeks. After that, we recommend using a balanced liquid vegetable fertilizer every two weeks.
Q: What is the spice level of the Erjingtiao and Pointing-to-Sky varieties?
A: The Erjingtiao offers a moderate heat with a fragrant aroma, popular for stir-fries. The Pointing-to-Sky (Tian Ying Jiao) is generally hotter and spicier, ideal for those who enjoy a strong kick.
