Perfect for container gardening
Even though they get tall, these eggplants did well in my large pots. The included soil mix seemed to give them a great start. Highly recommend for small space gardeners.

Great variety, needs patience
The plants grew very tall and produced many fruits. They take a bit longer to mature than expected, but the flavor is sweet and the skin is tender. Perfect for grilling whole.

Excellent germination rate!
I was skeptical about the soil-included kit, but these seeds sprouted within a week. The seedlings are strong and healthy. Can't wait to harvest the long eggplants for my summer BBQs.

Good but instructions could be clearer
The seeds grew well, but I wasn't sure when to transplant them from the starter soil. Once I figured it out, they thrived. Just wish the guide was more detailed for beginners.

High yield harvest
I planted six seedlings and got over 30 eggplants in total! The long shape is unique and looks beautiful on the plate. Will definitely buy this collection again next season.

Delicious results
As someone who cooks a lot, the quality of the vegetable matters. These eggplants have few seeds and a creamy texture. The 'No.1' name is fitting; they are top quality.
Q: Does the kit come with everything needed to grow the plant indoors initially?
A: Yes, the kit includes premium starter soil and seeds. You will need a pot with drainage holes and a sunny windowsill or grow light to start them indoors before moving outside.
Q: What is the shelf life of the seeds if I don't plant them immediately?
A: If stored in a cool, dry place in an airtight container, the seeds can remain viable for up to 2-3 years, though germination rates are highest in the first year.
Q: How far apart should I plant these seedlings in the ground?
A: For best results, space the Hangqie No.1 seedlings about 60-70 cm (24-28 inches) apart to allow adequate airflow and room for the plants to reach their full height.
Q: Are these seeds genetically modified (GMO)?
A: No, our Hangqie No.1 seeds are hybrid F1 varieties created through traditional breeding methods and are non-GMO.
Q: Can I save seeds from the harvested eggplants for next year?
A: Since these are F1 hybrid seeds, saving seeds from the fruit may result in plants that do not retain the same desirable traits as the parent plant. We recommend purchasing new seeds each season for consistent quality.
