Great value for money
Buying grafted seedlings saved me a lot of time compared to starting from seeds. The packaging was secure, and all five plants survived the shipping.

Best cucumbers I've grown
The Dutch variety produces very sweet and crunchy fruits with thin skins. No bitterness at all. The grafted roots seem to resist soil diseases well.

Excellent germination rate
These grafted seedlings arrived in perfect condition. They established quickly in my garden bed and started producing cucumbers within two months. Very happy with the yield so far.

Perfect for autumn planting
I was worried about planting in late summer, but these seedlings handled the transition to autumn weather beautifully. Still getting harvests despite cooler nights.

Healthy plants, slow start
The seedlings looked great upon arrival, but they took a little longer than expected to start fruiting. Once they did, the production was steady.

Good quality but needs support
The plants are very vigorous and healthy. Just remember to install a trellis early because they grow fast. The cucumbers taste crisp and fresh.
Q: Can I grow these in large pots instead of the ground?
A: Yes, these seedlings perform well in containers. Please use a pot that is at least 5 gallons with good drainage holes and provide a sturdy trellis.
Q: How far apart should I plant these seedlings?
A: We recommend spacing the seedlings about 18 to 24 inches apart to ensure good air circulation and adequate room for vine growth.
Q: What kind of fertilizer works best for these cucumbers?
A: A balanced vegetable fertilizer works well. Once flowering starts, you can switch to a formula slightly higher in potassium to encourage fruit development.
Q: Are these resistant to powdery mildew?
A: The grafted rootstock provides enhanced vigor and some disease resistance, but proper spacing and watering at the base of the plant are still recommended to prevent mildew.
Q: Do these seedlings need to be pollinated by hand?
A: Most modern Dutch cucumber varieties are parthenocarpic, meaning they can set fruit without pollination. However, having bees around never hurts if you are growing them outdoors.
