Great value, smooth writer
The Pilot 78G+ is a classic for a reason. It writes incredibly smoothly right out of the box. I deducted one star only because the included ink cartridges run out quickly if you write a lot, but that's expected. Highly recommend buying a converter separately.

Nice design, reliable performance
The color options are lovely, and the build quality is consistent with Pilot's reputation. It takes a little practice to get the angle right for the best flow, but once you do, it glides across the page. Great for journaling.

Excellent gift for adults and students
Purchased this as a graduation gift. The packaging is beautiful and feels premium. The pen itself is lightweight but doesn't feel cheap. The extra fine nib is perfect for those with small handwriting.

Smooth as butter

Perfect starter pen for calligraphy
