Good starter pen
This is a solid entry-level fountain pen. It writes well right out of the box without needing much priming. The grip section is comfortable for smaller hands. Would give 5 stars if it came with a converter included.

No more messy hands!
As a teacher, I recommend this pen to parents. The anti-splash design really works; students aren't getting ink on their fingers or uniforms anymore. It's durable enough to survive being dropped in a pencil case.

Great value, minor cap issue
The writing experience is excellent for the price. The blue ink flows consistently without skipping. My only small complaint is that the cap can be a bit tight to pull off initially, but it loosened up after a few days of use.

Perfect for my 3rd grader
My daughter just started using fountain pens in school, and this Dianshi model is fantastic. The EF nib is smooth but controlled, preventing ink blobs on her homework. The transparent barrel lets us see exactly how much ink is left.
Q: Does the pen come with ink already installed?
A: The package includes two blue ink cartridges. One is usually pre-installed in the pen for immediate use, and the second is provided as a spare.
Q: Is the nib suitable for left-handed writers?
A: Absolutely. The EF nib provides a consistent flow that works well for both left and right-handed users, minimizing smudging when used with quick-drying paper.
Q: How do I clean the pen if the ink dries out?
A: Simply remove the cartridge, rinse the nib and feed section under lukewarm water until the water runs clear, let it air dry, and insert a new cartridge.

A: The barrel is made from high-quality, impact-resistant resin. While no plastic is unbreakable, it is designed to withstand typical daily use by elementary students.
