Rich low register

The low register on this flute is incredibly rich and easy to control. I use it primarily for chamber music, and it projects well without being shrill. The case is also very sturdy for travel.

Good, but needs setup

The flute itself is solid, but it arrived slightly out of adjustment. If you have a local repair technician, this is a great deal. If not, you might struggle with the initial setup. Sound quality is good once fixed.

Beautiful tone for the price

Perfect upgrade

Solid construction

Very well built for the price point. The keys feel substantial, not flimsy. My only critique is that the headjoint cork was a bit dry upon arrival, but a quick greasing solved that. Plays lovely in jazz ensembles.
