Great upgrade from old springs
Replaced an old noisy floor spring with this H-220B model. The difference is night and day. It closes gently and holds the door open at the right angle. Highly recommend.

Solid performer
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. The damping mechanism is effective. I deducted one star only because the mounting screws provided were slightly shorter than I expected for concrete floors.

Perfect for my office entrance
Installed this on a heavy frameless glass door in our lobby. The buffer action is smooth and prevents the door from slamming. Very satisfied with the build quality.

A: There are adjustment valves located on the top cover of the unit. Use a small flathead screwdriver to turn them clockwise to slow down or counter-clockwise to speed up the closing action. Make small adjustments and test frequently.
