Solid build quality
The unit feels very robust and well-made. Installation instructions could be slightly clearer, but once set up, it works perfectly. The adjustable speed is a great feature.

Reliable heavy-duty solution
Does exactly what it says on the tin. Supports our solid wood door without sagging. Took off one star only because the mounting screws provided were a bit short for our specific floor thickness.

Smooth operation
We replaced an old broken spring with this N-818 model. The difference is night and day. The buffer function prevents the door from slamming, which was a major concern for us.

Perfect for heavy office doors
Installed this on our main entrance glass door which weighs about 140kg. It handles the weight effortlessly and the closing action is smooth and quiet. Highly recommended for commercial use.

Great value for money
Compared to other brands, this ZKHG model offers excellent performance at a better price point. It has been running for three months without any issues in a high-traffic area.
Q: Can I adjust the closing speed myself after installation?
A: Absolutely. There are adjustment valves on the unit that allow you to customize both the main closing speed and the latching speed using a standard screwdriver.
Q: What is the minimum door weight required for this spring to work effectively?
A: While rated for up to 160kg, it performs optimally on doors weighing between 80kg and 160kg. For lighter doors, a smaller model might be more appropriate.
Q: Is this suitable for a double glass door setup?
A: Yes, the N-818 can be used for double doors, but you will need to purchase two units, one for each door leaf, to ensure balanced operation.
Q: Does this come with a template for cutting the floor hole?
A: Yes, the package includes a paper installation template to help you mark the exact dimensions needed for embedding the spring into the floor.
Q: Is the chrome finish resistant to corrosion in humid environments?
A: The chrome plating provides good resistance to rust and corrosion, making it suitable for most indoor environments. However, for coastal areas with high salt exposure, regular maintenance is advised.
