Heavy duty and reliable

Solid product
Works as advertised. The two-stage closing feature is very useful to prevent fingers from getting caught. Deducting one star only because the mounting screws provided were a bit short for thick flooring.

Perfect for heavy glass doors

Good value but instructions could be better
The spring itself works great and holds the door well. Installation took a bit longer than expected because the manual was slightly vague on drilling depth for wooden frames.
Q: Does this work on outdoor doors exposed to rain?
A: The aluminum alloy body is corrosion-resistant, but since it is floor-mounted, we recommend ensuring the installation pit is properly sealed and drained to prevent water accumulation around the mechanism.
Q: Is professional installation required or can I do it myself?
A: While DIY installation is possible for experienced handymen, we recommend professional installation to ensure proper alignment and optimal hydraulic performance, especially for heavy tempered glass doors.
Q: How do I adjust the closing speed?
A: There are two adjustment valves located on the top of the unit. Use a small flathead screwdriver to turn them clockwise to slow down or counter-clockwise to speed up the closing action. Refer to the included diagram for specific valve functions.
Q: What is the minimum door thickness this can accommodate?
A: The H220B is designed for doors ranging from 10mm to 50mm in thickness. For doors thinner than 10mm, additional spacing plates may be required.
Q: Can this floor spring be used on a double door setup?
A: Yes, you can use two units (one for each leaf) for a double door configuration. Ensure each door leaf does not exceed the maximum weight capacity of 100kg.
