Good quality, tricky install
The metal is thick and durable. Installation took longer than expected because the floor recess needed some extra chiseling, but once installed, the door swings beautifully. Just be prepared with the right tools.

Works well but instructions vague
The product itself is solid, but the included instruction diagram was a bit generic. Had to watch a few online videos to get the alignment right. Once set up, it works fine.

A: No, this is a pivot axis and center shaft hardware set only. It allows for smooth rotation but does not include a spring-loaded self-closing feature. You would need a separate floor spring for that function.
Q: Can I install this on a concrete floor without a pre-existing recess?
A: Yes, but you will need to core drill or chisel a recess into the concrete to house the pivot base flush with the floor surface for proper operation and safety.
Q: Is this suitable for outdoor installation?
A: While the materials are rust-resistant, this unit is primarily designed for indoor or covered entryway use. For fully exposed outdoor elements, we recommend applying additional weatherproofing sealant.
