Perfect for mounting scrolls
This brush holds a tremendous amount of paste without dripping. The wool bristles are soft enough not to tear delicate rice paper but firm enough to smooth out bubbles effectively.

Good value, slight shedding initially
Overall a fantastic brush for the price. It shed a few hairs on the first rinse, but after that, it has been perfect for applying adhesive evenly.
Q: How do I clean the brush after using wheat paste?
A: Rinse immediately under lukewarm running water until the water runs clear. Gently reshape the bristles and let it air dry horizontally.
Q: Can this be used with synthetic adhesives?
A: Absolutely. This brush works well with both traditional wheat/rice pastes and modern synthetic PVA-based adhesives commonly used in framing.
Q: Does the handle come pre-varnished?
A: Yes, the thickened bamboo tube handle comes with a light natural varnish to protect against moisture and provide a smooth grip.
Q: What is the approximate width of the brush head?
