Solid performance, minor cosmetic issue
The reel performs flawlessly on the water. The drag is smooth and the handle feels sturdy. Only giving 4 stars because there was a small scratch on the rod guide upon arrival, but it doesn't affect performance.

Great upgrade from my old gear
Switched from a generic brand to this Shimano set and the difference is night and day. Casting distance improved significantly, and the straight handle gives me better control when fighting fish.

Good value bundle
For the price, you really can't beat this set. The components match well together. The line capacity is decent for general lure fishing. Would have liked a slightly higher gear ratio, but that's personal preference.

Lightweight and durable

Perfect starter set for lure fishing
This combo is incredible value. The Majestic rod has a great action for casting light lures, and the Sienna reel runs smoothly right out of the box. I've caught several bass with it already.
