Great portable option

Love how small it collapses. The foam card case protects it well in the car trunk. It's not a heavy-duty offshore rod, but for lake fishing and carp, it is absolutely perfect. Easy to assemble.

Good quality for the cost

The rod is lightweight and the EVA handle is comfortable to hold for long periods. The guides seem smooth. I deducted one star because the reel seat could be slightly tighter, but overall it's a solid choice for casual fishing.

Perfect for beginners and travel

Solid construction

The ceramic rings are a nice touch at this price point. Casting is smooth and accurate. The only improvement I'd suggest is a slightly longer handle for two-handed casting, but for a telescopic rod, it's excellent.

Exceeded expectations

I was skeptical about a wholesale-priced rod, but this FTK set surprised me. The carbon fiber blend gives it good sensitivity. I've used it for soft bait casting and it performs just as well as rods twice the price.
