Good quality, stiff jacket
The cable works great and the connectors click in securely. The only minor issue is that the jacket is a bit stiff, making it slightly hard to route behind tight furniture, but the performance is excellent.

Solid basic patch cable

A: Yes, Cat5e and Cat6 cables are backward and forward compatible with Cat7 ports. You will be able to establish a connection, though the speed will be limited to the maximum capability of the Cat5e or Cat6 cable.
Q: Is this cable suitable for outdoor use?
A: This specific model features a standard PVC jacket designed for indoor use. For outdoor installations, we recommend using a cable with UV-resistant and weatherproof shielding to prevent damage from elements.
Q: Can I run this inside walls?
A: While technically possible, this cable does not have a CMR (riser) or CMP (plenum) fire safety rating required by many building codes for in-wall installation. We suggest checking your local regulations before installing inside walls.
