Stunning quality for my holiday decor
I bought this fabric to make door curtains for the Lunar New Year, and it exceeded my expectations. The phoenix pattern is incredibly detailed, and the nylon jacquard feels luxurious yet durable. It hangs beautifully and catches the light perfectly.

Beautiful but requires careful handling
The fabric is gorgeous, but because it is a brocade, you need to be careful with snagging during sewing. Once installed as a door curtain, it looks very expensive and adds a wonderful cultural touch to our home.

Fast shipping and pristine condition
Arrived quickly and was folded neatly without any creases that wouldn't steam out. The red is deep and rich, not bright or cheap looking. Will definitely order more for other rooms.

Perfect for traditional projects
As someone who sews Hanfu and traditional items, I appreciate the high precision of the weave. The wave and phoenix design is authentic-looking. I used leftovers to make matching pillow covers, and the whole set looks amazing.

Excellent value for money
You rarely find nylon jacquard of this caliber at this price point. It is thick enough to provide privacy when used as a curtain but still allows some light to filter through elegantly. Highly recommended.

Great fabric, slightly stiff initially
The colors are vibrant and exactly as pictured. The brocade is a bit stiff out of the package, but after steaming it once, it draped much better. Perfect for creating a festive atmosphere in the entryway.
Q: Does the fabric have any stretch to it?
A: No, high-precision nylon jacquard brocade is a woven fabric with virtually no stretch. We recommend accounting for this lack of elasticity when patterning your projects.
Q: Can I machine wash this if I am careful?
A: We strongly advise against machine washing. The raised jacquard texture can be damaged by agitation. Dry cleaning or very gentle hand washing in cold water is the safest method.
Q: What is the repeat size of the phoenix pattern?
A: The vertical pattern repeat is approximately 24 inches, and the horizontal repeat is 18 inches, allowing for consistent alignment when sewing multiple panels together.
Q: Is this fabric suitable for outdoor use?
A: While the nylon material is durable, this brocade is best suited for indoor use such as door curtains or upholstery to preserve the intricate jacquard pattern and color vibrancy long-term.
Q: Is the back of the fabric finished or rough?
A: The back has a typical brocade finish with floating threads visible due to the jacquard weave. For door curtains, we suggest lining it if you want a uniform look from both sides.
