Perfect for IoT projects with display needs

Beginner friendly yet powerful
As someone learning embedded systems, this board is fantastic. The screen provides immediate visual feedback for code changes. Plenty of examples available online to get started quickly.

Solid performance for prototyping
We used these for rapid prototyping of control panels. The build quality feels robust enough for lab environments. Only wish it had a few more dedicated PWM pins exposed directly on the header.

Excellent value for money
Compared to buying a separate dev board and screen module, this all-in-one solution saves so much wiring time. The USB-C port is a nice modern touch, and BLE 5.0 works flawlessly with my phone app.

Great board, minor documentation gaps
Hardware quality is excellent and the screen colors are vibrant. Setup with ESP-IDF was mostly straightforward, though some specific pinout details for the display driver required digging into community forums.

Screen clarity is impressive
The ST7789 driver pushes great colors on this IPS panel. Viewing angles are wide, which is helpful when mounting the device in enclosures. Wi-Fi 6 range testing exceeded my expectations.
Q: Does the package include a protective case?
A: No, the package includes only the development board and a short USB Type-C cable. Protective cases or acrylic shells are sold separately if you need enclosure options for your project.
Q: Can I use this with Arduino IDE?
A: Absolutely. You can install the ESP32 board manager package in Arduino IDE, select the 'Xiao ESP32C6' or generic 'ESP32C6' board (depending on the specific core version), and utilize libraries like TFT_eSPI to drive the screen.
Q: Is there an external antenna connector for better WiFi range?
A: This specific model utilizes an onboard PCB antenna designed for compactness. It does not feature an external U.FL or SMA connector. However, the Wi-Fi 6 protocol generally provides improved efficiency and range over previous generations even with the internal antenna.
Q: What is the power consumption when the display is active?
A: Typical current consumption is around 150mA to 200mA when the display brightness is at maximum and WiFi is transmitting. For battery-powered projects, we recommend implementing deep sleep modes when the screen is not in use.
Q: Does this board support MicroPython out of the box?
