Solid performance, minor pin labeling issue
The WiFi range is impressive and the dual-core processor handles multitasking well. Only giving 4 stars because some of the pin labels on the silkscreen are a bit faint, but functionally it is excellent.

Perfect for IoT prototyping
This board works flawlessly out of the box. The CH340 driver installed easily on Windows 10, and I was uploading code via Arduino IDE within minutes. Great value for the price.

Easy setup for beginners
I was worried about setting up the drivers, but the included link in the description worked perfectly. Blinking an LED and connecting to WiFi was surprisingly simple. Very happy with this purchase.

Great for Home Assistant projects
I bought three of these to run ESPHome nodes. They connect reliably to my network and the Bluetooth functionality is a nice bonus for future sensor integration. Highly recommended.

Best board for learning embedded systems
As a computer science student, this board has been invaluable. The community support for ESP32 is huge, making it easy to find libraries and examples. The build quality feels sturdy too.

Reliable industrial control option
Using this for a small conveyor belt monitoring system. It handles the data logging and WiFi transmission without dropping packets. Wish it had a built-in battery connector, but otherwise great.
Q: Can I power this board directly with a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: While the ESP32 chip runs on 3.3V, this specific board does not have a built-in LiPo charging circuit. You should use a regulated 5V source via the USB port or VIN pin, or use an external buck converter for battery projects.
Q: Does the CH340 chip work on macOS without extra drivers?
A: Newer versions of macOS often include drivers for CH340, but some users may still need to install the official WCH driver manually if the device is not recognized immediately.
Q: What is the maximum current this board can supply on the 3.3V pin?
A: The onboard regulator can generally supply up to 600mA, but we recommend drawing no more than 500mA total from the 3.3V rail to ensure stability, especially when WiFi is active.
Q: Does this board come with headers pre-soldered?
A: No, this board typically ships without headers soldered to allow for flexible mounting options. You will need to solder your own male or female headers depending on your project needs.
