Perfect for SDR enthusiasts
This board is exactly what I needed for my spectrum analysis projects. The AD9361 chip performs flawlessly across the entire frequency range, and the Zynq processing power handles complex DSP tasks without lag. Setup with GNU Radio was straightforward.

Solid performance, runs warm
Performance is top-notch for prototyping IoT protocols. My only minor complaint is that the FPGA gets quite warm during extended high-load operations, so I added a small fan to my enclosure. Otherwise, highly recommended.

Best in class for this price point
Coming from a basic RTL-SDR dongle, this is a massive upgrade. The transmit capability opens up so many new experimentation possibilities. The documentation provided by the manufacturer helped me get started quickly.

Great hardware, steep learning curve
The build quality is excellent and the specs are impressive for the price. However, if you are new to FPGA development, be prepared to spend some time reading documentation. Once configured, the OpenWiFi stack works surprisingly well.

Robust and versatile
I've been using this for drone telemetry testing. The latency is low, and the ability to reconfigure the radio parameters on the fly is a game changer. The SMA connectors feel sturdy and provide good signal integrity.

Excellent value for research
We purchased three of these for our university lab. They serve as a cost-effective alternative to much more expensive equipment for teaching wireless communications. The community support for this specific board is very active.

A: No, the package includes only the development board and a USB cable. Antennas with SMA connectors must be purchased separately to match your specific frequency requirements.
Q: Does this board come with pre-loaded firmware or is it blank?
A: The board typically ships with a basic boot image to allow immediate connection via USB or Ethernet. However, for custom development, you will likely want to flash your own FPGA bitstream and Linux image.
Q: Is the OpenWiFi project fully compatible out of the box?
