Good for embedded vision
Using it for a camera interface project. PS-PL communication is stable. Wish it had HDMI output but the GPIO headers compensate for it.

Solid hardware, minor docs issues
The board itself is high quality. Documentation could be more detailed for beginners but community support helps. Great value compared to official kits.

Great value for money
Cheaper than official boards but performs just as well for my university projects. The JTAG programming works smoothly without external adapters.

Excellent for PYNQ projects
Works out of the box with the provided image. Dual Ethernet is a huge plus for networking apps. I was able to set up the environment within an hour.
Q: Which Vivado version is recommended for this board?
A: We recommend Vivado 2018.3 or 2019.1 for best compatibility with provided constraints and examples.
Q: Is the heatsink pre-installed on the chip?
A: Yes, the FPGA chip comes with a passive heatsink attached to ensure thermal stability during operation.
Q: Does this model support HDMI input or output?
A: No, this specific Z7Nano model does not include HDMI ports. It focuses on Ethernet and GPIO expansion.
Q: Where do I download the PYNQ image?
A: Links are provided in the wiki section on our product support page along with setup instructions.
Q: Can I power this via USB only?
A: Yes, the Micro USB port can supply power, but external 5V is recommended for heavy loads or peripheral usage.
