Great Value Module
Compact and does exactly what it says. Soldering the headers was easy. Reading and writing speeds are decent for hobby projects.

Good but pins are tight
Functionality is perfect. My only minor complaint is the header pins were a bit tight to insert into my breadboard initially. Otherwise solid.

Works with ESP32
Connected this to an ESP32 dev kit. Make sure to use the 3.3V pin on the ESP32 side. Logging sensor data successfully.

Level Shifter is Key
I burned a previous card reader by connecting 5V directly. This module saves you from that mistake. Highly recommended for beginners.

Perfect for Data Logging
Used this with an Arduino Uno for a weather station. The level shifter makes it safe to use with 5V logic. Works flawlessly with the standard SD library.
Q: Does it come with header pins?
A: Yes, the package includes a 6-pin male header strip for easy breadboard use.
Q: Can I use this with 3.3V microcontrollers?
A: Absolutely, it works with 3.3V systems like ESP32 or STM32 without issues.
Q: Which library works best for this module?
A: The standard Arduino SD.h library or the SdFat library are both fully compatible.
Q: What is the maximum SD card capacity supported?
A: We recommend using cards up to 32GB formatted in FAT32 for best compatibility.
Q: Is this compatible with 5V Arduino Uno?
A: Yes, the module includes a level shifter to safely interface with 5V logic boards.
