Solid Performance
Good stability under load. Runs hot during heavy Wi-Fi usage so consider a heatsink for enclosed projects. Otherwise excellent value.

Perfect for AI Projects
The PSRAM makes a huge difference for running tinyML models. Setup was smooth with Arduino IDE and the Wi-Fi connectivity is stable.

Xiao Zhi Robot Ready

Great board, minor pinout confusion
Powerful chip but check the pinout diagram carefully before wiring. Some GPIOs are strapping pins which can be tricky for beginners.
Q: Is this compatible with MicroPython?
A: Yes, the ESP32-S3 is fully supported by MicroPython and CircuitPython frameworks.
Q: Can I power this with a 3.7V LiPo battery?
A: Yes, you can connect a LiPo battery to the BAT pins if the board has a charging circuit, otherwise use VIN regulated to 5V.
Q: Is the 8MB PSRAM enough for camera projects?
A: Yes, 8MB PSRAM is sufficient for most ESP32-CAM style projects and basic AI inference tasks.
Q: What IDE do you recommend for this board?
A: We recommend VS Code with PlatformIO or the Arduino IDE for the best community support and library availability.
