Perfect for LoRaWAN
Works exactly as described. The integration with the ESP32-C3 makes power management much easier than older ESP8266 boards. Successfully connected to TTN within an hour.

Solid build quality
Nice PCB design and components look genuine. The antenna connector is secure. Only wish it came with a pin header soldered, but that is a minor issue.

Good board, tricky docs
Hardware is solid and the build quality is excellent. However, the documentation for the SX1262 library could be more detailed for beginners. Otherwise, great value.

Great ESP32-C3 alternative
Compiles easily in Arduino IDE. The USB-C connection is stable and programming is fast. Happy to see a Heltec-compatible board at this price point.

Low power confirmed
Battery lasts weeks in deep sleep mode. I am using this for a remote sensor node and the power consumption is impressively low compared to similar modules.
Q: Does this support Arduino IDE?
A: Yes, fully compatible. You can install the ESP32 board package and select the ESP32-C3 variant to start programming immediately.
Q: Can I connect a LiPo battery?
A: Yes, there is a PH2.0 connector on board for single-cell LiPo batteries. Please ensure voltage is within 3.7V to 4.2V range.
Q: Where to find pinout diagram?
A: Available on our wiki page under the product support section. We also include a PDF in the download link provided after purchase.
Q: Is 5V tolerant on GPIO?
A: No, GPIO pins are 3.3V logic level. Applying 5V directly may damage the module. Use a level shifter if interfacing with 5V devices.
Q: What is the transmission range?
A: Range depends on environment and antenna. In open line-of-sight, you can expect several kilometers. Urban environments will reduce this distance.
