Great gift for space enthusiasts
My father loves anything related to NASA, and he absolutely cherished this coin. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is that the case lid is a bit loose, but the coin itself is beautiful.

Beautiful craftsmanship
The contrast between the silver and gold sections is striking. The text is legible and sharp. It arrived quickly and was well-packaged to prevent any scratches during shipping.

Nice display piece
Looks great on the shelf. The colors are vibrant and the historical significance makes it a conversation starter. Just remember it's a replica coin for decoration, not an investment grade bullion.

Excellent collectible
As a collector of space memorabilia, this is a fantastic addition. It is not legal tender, which is clear from the description, but as a decorative ornament, it exceeds expectations. The weight feels substantial.

Stunning detail for the price
I bought this to commemorate the anniversary and was blown away by the intricate details on the eagle landing. The gold plating looks very realistic under light. It sits perfectly in the included velvet case on my desk.
Q: Is the text on the coin raised or engraved?
A: The design features a combination of raised relief for the main images (like the astronaut and eagle) and engraved lettering for the text details to ensure high visibility and texture.
Q: Does the display case have a stand or is it just a box?
A: The velvet case is designed primarily for storage and protection. It does not have an integrated easel stand, but it can be propped up easily or placed inside a separate display frame.
Q: Is this coin made of real gold or silver?
A: No, this is a commemorative decorative coin made of zinc alloy with gold and silver plating. It does not contain precious metals and has no face value as currency.
Q: What is the exact diameter of the coin?
A: The coin measures exactly 40mm (approximately 1.57 inches) in diameter, which is a standard size for many commemorative challenge coins.
Q: Can I purchase just the silver version without the gold plating?
A: This specific listing is for the dual-tone gold and silver plated version commemorating the 50th Anniversary. We do not currently offer a single-tone silver-only variant for this specific design.
