Perfect Upgrade for Abrasive Filaments
Switched to this for carbon fiber nylon. The hardened steel nozzle holds up much better than the stock brass one. Installation was straightforward and prints look great.

Good but pricey
Works well and fits perfectly. Only giving 4 stars because it is a bit more expensive than other third-party options, but the quality seems higher.

Easy Installation
I was worried about swapping the hotend myself, but the quick-release mechanism made it very easy. No leaks so far and temperature holds steady.

Great Quality Build
Feels very solid. Print quality remains consistent even after several spools of abrasive material. Highly recommend for P1S owners looking for durability.
Q: Do I need to recalibrate after installation?
A: We recommend running the nozzle flow calibration and vibration calibration in the printer settings after swapping.
Q: What is the difference between HF and standard?
A: The HF (High-Flow) design allows for faster melting and extrusion rates, suitable for higher speed printing.
Q: Does this come with a new silicone sock?
A: Yes, the kit includes a new high-temperature silicone sock for insulation and safety.
Q: Can I use this with PLA?
A: Absolutely. While designed for abrasive materials, it works perfectly with standard PLA, PETG, and ABS.
Q: Is this compatible with the X1 Carbon?
A: Yes, this hotend kit is fully compatible with the X1, X1C, and X1E models as well as the P1 series.
