Solid build quality

The steel feels very robust and the machining on the keyways is precise. Installation was straightforward. I gave it 4 stars only because the instructions could be slightly more detailed regarding lubrication intervals.

Q: What are the available bore sizes for this new arrival?

A: This new arrival series currently supports bore sizes ranging from 10mm to 50mm. Custom boring services are also available upon request for non-standard shaft diameters.

Q: Are replacement center discs available separately?

A: Yes, replacement center discs (the sliding middle piece) are sold separately. This allows you to replace the worn component without changing the entire hub assembly, saving on long-term maintenance costs.

Q: Can this be used in a wet environment?

A: The standard carbon steel version has a black oxide finish which offers some corrosion resistance, but it is not fully waterproof. For consistently wet or corrosive environments, we suggest looking into our stainless steel variants.

Q: Does this coupling require regular lubrication?

A: While the sliding motion benefits from occasional lubrication to reduce wear on the center disc, many industrial applications run them dry for extended periods. We recommend applying a light machine oil during initial installation and checking every 6 months.

Q: What is the maximum parallel misalignment this coupling can compensate for?
