Smooth operation

I bought the double diaphragm version for a robotics project. It absorbs vibrations really well and keeps the motion smooth even at high speeds. Highly recommend for anyone building custom machinery.

Great quality, slightly tight fit

The build quality is excellent for the price. It handled the high torque of my servo motor without any issues. The only reason for 4 stars is that the bore was slightly tight, requiring a bit of extra effort to slide onto the shaft.

Good but instructions missing

The coupling itself works fine and seems sturdy. However, it came without any installation torque specifications or manual. I had to look up generic guidelines online to ensure I didn't overtighten the screws.

Perfect fit for my CNC router

Excellent value

For the cost, you cannot beat this coupling. It performs just as well as branded alternatives costing three times as much. The misalignment compensation saved my motor bearings from premature wear.

A: Both types handle angular misalignment well, but the double diaphragm design generally offers superior compensation for parallel misalignment while maintaining high torsional stiffness.

Q: Does this coupling come with set screws or is it clamp-only?

A: This model features a clamp-type hub design which provides a secure grip without damaging the motor shaft. Set screws are not included nor required for this specific series.

Q: Can this handle oil exposure in an industrial environment?

A: Yes, the aluminum alloy is anodized which provides good resistance to mild oils and coolants. However, prolonged submersion in harsh chemicals is not recommended.
