Good value, slight runout
Works great for low-speed applications. I noticed a tiny bit of runout at max speed, but it's within acceptable limits for my encoder setup.

Great for CNC retrofits
Used these to replace old rigid couplers on my milling machine. The noise reduction is immediate, and motor life should improve.

Perfect fit for my servo project
The figure-8 design absorbs vibration really well. Installation was straightforward, and the machining quality is excellent for the price point.

Excellent build quality
The aluminum hubs are anodized nicely, and the elastomer element feels durable. No issues after two weeks of continuous operation.

Robust and flexible
I needed something to handle angular misalignment, and this GB type coupling handles it perfectly without binding. Highly recommended.

Decent but sizing was tricky
The product itself is fine, but make sure you measure your shaft diameters twice. The tolerance is standard, but I had to ream one side slightly.
Q: Is this suitable for stepper motors?
A: Absolutely. It is widely used for connecting stepper and servo motors to lead screws or encoders.
Q: Can I use this in a high-temperature environment like an oven conveyor?
A: We do not recommend it for temperatures exceeding 80°C as the elastomer element may degrade. Please contact us for high-temp alternatives.
Q: Does this coupling require lubrication?
A: No, the Figure-8 elastic design is maintenance-free and does not require any lubrication.
Q: What is the maximum angular misalignment this can handle?
A: This GB type coupling can typically accommodate up to 2 degrees of angular misalignment depending on the specific bore size.
Q: Are set screws included with the coupling?
A: Yes, each coupling comes pre-installed with high-strength alloy steel set screws.
