Reliable and sturdy
I have used these on three different machines now. They transmit torque efficiently and the jaw design makes installation very quick. Highly recommended for hobbyist CNC builds.

Great for servo applications
Used this with a 400W servo motor. Zero backlash noticed during direction changes. Very happy with the precision and stability it adds to the axis movement.

Exactly as described
The dimensions matched the listing perfectly. No runout issues observed at high speeds. The black anodized finish also looks professional on the machine frame.

Good value for the price
Works well for my 3D printer project. The aluminum feels durable. I deducted one star because the set screws were a bit tight to loosen initially, but once installed, they hold firm.

Solid component
Does exactly what it is supposed to do. Connects the motor shaft to the ball screw smoothly. The elastic spider insert seems like it will last a long time under normal load.

Perfect fit for my CNC upgrade
These couplings fit perfectly on my NEMA 23 stepper motors. The build quality is solid, and the elastic element provides just enough flexibility to handle minor misalignments without vibration.
Q: What is the maximum bore size this coupling can accommodate?
A: This specific model supports shaft bores ranging from 5mm up to 14mm. Please check the product variation you selected for the exact bore combination.
Q: What is the hardness rating of the aluminum alloy used?
A: The hubs are made from high-strength Aluminum Alloy 6061-T6, which offers an excellent balance of strength, machinability, and corrosion resistance for motion control applications.
Q: Is the elastic spider insert replaceable if it wears out?
A: Yes, the jaw design allows you to slide out the old elastic element and insert a new one without removing the hubs from the shafts, provided you have spare inserts of the correct size.
Q: Can this handle axial load or just rotational torque?
A: This coupling is primarily designed for transmitting rotational torque. While the elastic element allows for slight axial displacement to compensate for misalignment, it is not intended to support significant axial loads.
Q: Does this come with the set screws needed for installation?
A: Yes, each coupling comes pre-installed with the necessary stainless steel set screws. We also include an Allen key for your convenience.
