Does the job well

Replaced a old rubber spider coupling with this. The rigidity is much better. Only giving 4 stars because the instructions were minimal, but it's intuitive enough.

Excellent torque transmission

Using this in a custom automation arm. It handles the start-stop torque spikes without any slippage or wear so far. Very happy with the performance.

Smooth operation

Perfect for my CNC upgrade

This coupling fit perfectly between my NEMA 23 servo motor and the lead screw. The zero backlash is noticeable in the print quality. Very sturdy construction.

A: Yes, the coupling comes pre-assembled with the necessary high-strength socket head cap screws for both ends.

Q: Can I use this with a stepper motor instead of a servo?

A: Yes, absolutely. While optimized for servo motors, this coupling works excellently with stepper motors provided the shaft diameters match and the torque requirements are within limits.

Q: Does this coupling require any lubrication during installation?

A: No, this aluminum alloy diaphragm coupling is designed to operate dry. Applying lubricant to the diaphragm or shaft interface is not recommended.

Q: Is this suitable for outdoor use in rain?

A: While the aluminum is anodized for corrosion resistance, this coupling is primarily designed for indoor industrial or hobbyist machinery. Prolonged exposure to moisture is not recommended.

Q: What is the maximum angular misalignment this can handle?
