A: They are designed for use with standard carbon steel bolts, but can mate with stainless depending on the application.
Q: Are the washers hardened as well?
A: The spring washers are hardened steel to maintain tension, flat washers are standard steel.

A: Black oxide provides moderate corrosion resistance. We recommend oiling for outdoor use.
