Reliable Data
Consistent distance readings over several weeks of testing. Very happy with the performance for the price.
Q: Is it waterproof?
A: No, this module is not waterproof and should be kept dry to avoid electrical damage.
Q: Can it measure liquid levels?
A: Yes, but ensure the surface is flat and there is no foam which can absorb the ultrasonic waves.
Q: How many can I connect?
A: You can connect multiple units using separate trigger and echo pins for each sensor.
Q: Which library do you recommend?
A: We recommend the NewPing library for Arduino projects as it handles timing efficiently.
Q: Is this 3.3V logic safe?
A: The module runs on 5V. Use a voltage divider for the Echo pin if connecting to 3.3V boards to prevent damage.
